We are glad to announce that our products were updated for a partial compatibility with Prepar3D v5 !
You can now update Envdir as well as all your TOGA products from Envupdater by clicking the update button in Envdir. The full patches will be released shortly on SimMarket and Envdir can be downloaded directly from our website.
This is the first round of several steps to the full P3D v5 compatibility updates. This one brings basic compatibility and will allow the installation of all the compatible or partially compatible features of Envtex and Envsound to your P3D v5. Envshade will receive its first P3Dv5 update in the next update round, it will also brings several updates to Envtex and Envsound to solve the currently known issues.
This new update also bring compatibility with Prepar3D v4.5 hotfix 3 released yesterday by Lockheed Martin, you will also notice that we have solve a minor but annoying issue with water and terrain saturation tweaks in Envshade. It has been solved for all supported P3D version from 3.4 to 4.5 Hf3.
About P3D v5 compatibility, you may note that for now some minor visual issues may appear for now on this new version until the next update round. Known issues on P3D v5:
- Envtex auroras oversized and not fully displaying
- Envtex sun flares not displaying completely
- Some Envsound sounds effect can be heard from higher
