    EnvTex and EA

    in General

So, I believe EnvTex used custom created textures (of its own or with ASCA) and used them instead of the default textures. With the advent of Enhanced Atmospherics, does it function the same way if you fly with EA ON? Because it seems those clouds are generated completely differently.

In other words, if the EA clouds are not the same as the texture database EnvTex is known for, what reason is there to install EnvTex?

    Cheers...

Envtex cloud and sky textures indeed do not have any impact on EA clouds and sky for now. However there are still quite a lot of reasons to install Envtex : Special effects for all aircraft, grass textures, water textures, sun effects, milkyway, waves effects, airport textures and aurora borealis and australis
